Today, using potable mains water for irrigation and industrial needs—which reach significant amounts—represents a major loss both environmentally and economically. It is clear that implementing rainwater harvesting systems in precipitation-rich regions provides multifaceted benefits.

To ensure an uninterrupted water supply in our region, the State Hydraulic Works (DSİ) has, for the first time in Turkey, allocated a reservoir area to an organized industrial zone. In this context, the reservoir to be constructed by our Regional Directorate is planned to have an annual water capacity of approximately 2 million cubic meters.
